HEALTH SCREENINGS


Saturday, June 15 /

anytime between 10am-12noon

Hume requires that each camper complete a mandatory Health Screen. Without this screening, students will not be allowed to attend camp. The Bridge offers a complimentary screening the Saturday prior to departure where we will ask a few simple questions to ensure your student shows no sign of illness.

Please do not send a child to the Health Screening with a fever, flu-like or Covid symptoms, they will not be allowed to attend camp. If your student is ill, give us a call to let us know.

 

SCHEDULE

DEPARTURE

WHERE: The BCHS Parking Lot
WHEN: Sunday, June 16 / 10:30 am

We will drop off our luggage at BCHS and head over to the 9:00 am service together. We will depart for camp immediately following the first service.

RETURN

WHERE: The Bridge Bible Church Parking Lot
WHEN: Saturday, June 22 / approximately 1 pm

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

How much is camp and when do I pay?

The cost of Summer Camp during the Early Bird Special is $889.

Early Bird ends at midnight April 8 and the cost will then go up to $839.

A deposit of $150 is required to register and secure a spot. Payments may be made in any increment, at any time until paid in full.

The final camp balance is due no later than May 26.

What do I do with prescription medications?

All medications, prescription and over-the-counter, must be turned in during the Health Screen. Campers are not allowed to have any medication in their bags or on their person. The only exceptions are inhalers or epi-pens.

All medications must be entered into the Hume system within the Medical Release Form. Medications not listed on the Hume Medical Release Form will not be allowed at camp.

When you come to the Health Screen on Saturday, June 15, screeners will take your medication and match it to what was entered on your form. Please bring all medications in a zip lock bag labeled as follows:

Can I send letters/packages to my camper?

Yes! We suggest you mail packages five days prior to your intended arrival date addressed as follows:

What if I need to pick my camper up early or bring them up late?

If for any reason, you are bringing your camper up late or picking them up early, you will need to notify our camp coordinator, Ally Miller at Ally@thebridgebiblechurch.com as soon as possible. It will severely delay our departure or return if we do not know of these special circumstances in advance.

What should I pack?

Bible, notebook, pen/pencil, flashlight, sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, warm clothes, water bottle, jacket, hat/beanie, gloves, boots, additional spending money.

How many meals are provided?

Hume provides dinner the day of arrival, all meals each full day, and breakfast the day of departure.
