“4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good... 18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, 18
 

Can you believe the personal nature of that last verse? “… God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as He chose…” This means you are not here on accident. You didn’t just “stumble” upon The Bridge and call it your home… God arranged you to be here, at The Bridge, for this season, on purpose, by His choosing. That’s incredible! And it means you have a role to play in our church body. Because we each have a responsibility in the spiritual maturity of the church, “… when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” (Ephesians 4:16b).

 

So where can you serve?

There are a variety a ways and places to serve:

  • Bridge Kids: Safari Land, All Stars, Special Needs

  • Bridge Youth: 6th, Jr. High, High School

  • Worship & Production: Worship, A/V, Creatives

  • Connections: Frontline greeters, Cafe, Welcome Table

  • Campus Safety

  • Adult Ministry: Women’s, Men’s, Small Groups

  • Prayer Team

  • Outreach

  • One-Time Events: Camps, Retreats, workdays
