We offer a complimentary Health-Screening Day at The Bridge Bible Church on Saturday, June 6th from 10am to 12noon. At this Health Screening, a nurse will be present to ask a few simple questions to ensure your student shows no sign of sickness.
If your child does not receive the complementary Health Screening we offer, you will be charged a $10 fee for a screening to be completed by a Hume staff member. Please do not send a child to the Health Screening with a fever, they will not be allowed to attend camp. FAQS

Wagon Train is a fun, rustic summer camp for kids age 8-11 years old, entering 3rd through 6th grades. This Old West experience includes sleeping in a real covered wagon, learning Archery and BB guns, riding canoes and kayaks around the pond and exploring Fort Logan (our three-story island fort).

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Camp-wide recreation games like Capture the Flag, the Water Carnival and our awesome night game Stampede will have you talking about camp for years to come. You’ll also sit around a campfire singing worship songs, memorize scripture, watch amazing skits about the Bible performed by the Wagon Train staff and hear each morning and evening the Good News of Jesus and his love for us. We almost forgot to mention: D&G tag, Chipmunk rappelling rock, Trading Post, and a tree house fit for a king: Burnside Manor. You’ll experience all this and more, like great food, friends and fun.

If you would like to send letters/packages to your camper, please mail them prior to or within the first couple days of camp to:

Wagon Train Week 1- Hume Lake Christian Camp

Also, our Counselors give this entire week to your students. Some even take the week off work. If you would like to show your appreciation by making a “Care Package” for your student’s Counselor, please bring it to the Health Screening on June 6th.

Wagon Train is a closed camp. This is for the safety and enjoyment of every camper. Hume asks that family and friends not visit during the week.

If, for any reason, you are bringing your camper up late or picking them up early, please notify Katie Young, Elementary Director, as soon as possible. It will severely delay our departure or return if we do not know of these special circumstances in advance.

All medications, prescription and over the counter, are given to the nurses at Hume Lake. Campers are not allowed to have any medication in their bags or on their person. The only exceptions are inhalers or epi-pens.

All prescription medications needed must be entered into the Hume system when filling out the Hume Lake Medical Form online. Medications not listed in the Hume system will not be allowed at camp.

Please note: general over the counter medications are available from the nurse at Hume Lake. There is no need to bring pain/allergy medications unless they take it on a regular basis and will need it daily.

When you come to the Health Screening on Saturday, June 6th, we will take your medication and match it to what was entered online. Please bring all medications in a one-gallon zip lock bag labeled as follows:
