June 10-16

Summer Camp is….

Hang out with over 100 elementary students from the Bridge for an entire week! You will leave Hume with new friendships made at camp.

Rappelling, archery, BB guns, swimming, Fort Logan, D&G tag and boating are just a few of the amazing activities at Wagon Train.

Wagon Train meeting time is in the Outpost and under the stars in Campfire Theater…two great places to sing and hear from God’s word.

There are so many things to do at camp!

Want to see it all in action? Check out this video

Wagon Train is a fun, rustic summer camp for kids age 8-11 years old, entering 3rd through 6th grades. This Old West experience includes sleeping in a real covered wagon, learning Archery and BB guns, riding canoes and kayaks around the pond and exploring Fort Logan (our three story island fort) . But the fun doesn’t stop there! Camp-wide recreation games like Capture the Flag, the Water Carnival and our awesome night game Stampede will have you talking about camp for years to come. You’ll also sit around a campfire singing worship songs, memorize scripture, watch amazing skits about the Bible performed by the Wagon Train staff and hear each morning and evening the Good News of Jesus and his love for us. I almost forgot to mention: D&G tag, Chipmonk rappelling rock, Trading Post, and a tree house fit for a king: Burnside Manor. You’ll experience all this and more, like great food, friends and fun.

Pre-Camp Meeting & Health Screening

Parent Meeting

Sunday, April 29 at 12:30pm in Discovery Field
We will have a mandatory pre-camp meeting for ALL students and counselors attending camp. We will cover some important information and some new things to remember for camp. Please plan to attend with your camper.

Health Screening

Saturday, June 9 from 10am-noon

State law requires that your camper complete a mandatory Health Screening. Without this Health Screening, they will not be allowed to attend camp. We offer a complimentary Health-Screening Day at The Bridge Bible Church on Saturday before camp. At this Health Screening, a nurse will be present to ask a few simple questions to ensure your student shows no sign of sickness. If your child does not receive the complementary Health Screening we offer, you will be charged a $10 fee for a screening to be completed by a Hume staff member. Please do not send a child to the Health Screening with a fever, they will not be allowed to attend camp. If your student is ill, give us a call to let us know.
